Charcoal Realism and Graphite
Tim Walker began drawing at the age of 8. It was, of course, a side hobby, something to pass the time. He never knew that once he started working for Blick Art Materials in Santa Monica, CA in 2018, his eyes would be opened to a new world of possibilities. Tim had used graphite all his life. When he eventually learned of the endless possibilities of charcoal, his work skyrocketed to exciting new levels. He saw a deeper richness and contrast in tones, something which he truly appreciate with each piece produced.
Tim now specializes in wildlife art and pet portraits. His works are sold all over the United States and Internationally reaching as far as Norway and New Zealand. Some of Tim's works have been featured in the 13th Annual The Best of Drawing Art Competition by Artist Magazine.
Tim is also an actor, author and classical pianist, but art is where his true affections lie. He hopes that those affections are revealed to everyone who sees his work in person, as much as they resonate within him.
