Photography and Watercolor
Lynn Fundingsland’s goal is to take a photo a day. Through 55+ years of working with a camera, Lynn has worked on newspapers in North Dakota and California, been published in North Dakota Outdoors, Theater Arts News, Midwest Living and Black and White magazines, and in ‘Seeing in Sixes’ a book put out by LensWork magazine.
His shows have included one person, group shows and juried exhibits at various venues ranging from the North Dakota Museum of Art, the Plains Art Museum (Fargo), The Rourke Gallery and Museum (Moorhead MN), Minot (ND) State College Gallery, the Jamestown (ND) Art Gallery and the Spirit Room Gallery (Fargo) to various more informal shows at local restaurants, clinics, churches, coffee shops, a bar and the Governor’s traveling show.
Lynn has a BA in Art from Humboldt State University and a Masters in Community Planning from NDSU Fargo. The latter led to career long day jobs directing housing and redevelopment authorities. Now retired, there’s more time for photography, travel, cooking, sailing, reading, golfing and painting. Life is good.
